We’ve been obsessed with Winston Yellen’s vocals in front of sweepingly good melodies and tasty guitar tones for a while now, so when we read about the premiere of their new track on Pitchfork today, the excitement soared and Christmas morning came back as soon as it left.
VIA PITCHFORK:
Last year, countrified singer/songwriter Winston Yellen’s Night Beds project released a very solid debut, Country Sleep; now, here’s a new Night Beds song, “Head for the Hills”, which features Yellin’s expressively yearning voice amidst splashy drums and washes of guitar and strings. Hopefully, this new cut means that Yellen and his band are at work on a follow-up toCountry Sleep.
