The Frendly Gathering music festival provided another year’s worth of positive energy and ‘frendly vibes’ this summer at their festival in Vermont, and we were honored to have been a part of it. If you managed to go, we are sure you will want to re-live it, and if you didn’t… we want to give you a little taste of the good stuff.
Three amazing artists took some time out of their busy festival schedules to come join us in the mountains to recording a live track – just for us. We’re calling it the Ridge Top Series.
They’ve also joined our Musician Coalition, a collaboration project with talented artists from all genres to support our Early Warning Radio Network. All participating musicians, including these three, have set their own goals on a personal fundraising page, and they’re bringing their fans together to bring permanent peace to communities affected by LRA violence.
Good music is bringing people together to create change, and we didn’t think we could be more excited about it. Then, we saw these new videos from the Frendly Gathering festival…
One exclusive track will be released each week, for the next three weeks. All you have to do is listen to them, love them (perhaps listen a few more times) and then visit this fundraising page to help them reach their pledged fundraising goal to support our mission.
WHO ARE THEY?
These three amazing performers are just awesome, not only for producing great music, but for using their talents to benefit our most essential programs.
First up: Kris Orlowski. He’s a long-time supporter and friend of ours, and we are so pumped to have him return. We loved working with him for our Rallysong collaboration, and now he’s back with a live acoustic version of one of his awesome tracks. (We won’t spoil the fun by telling you which one…)
We love adding new artists to our join our Musician Coalition, and we are very happy about these next two additions. Enter: Terra Naomi, a true global artist who gave us the first, exclusive listen to her latest single (released soon). Her voice is simply beautiful and her lyrical stories are incredible.
