Award-winning author and illustrator, Maurice Sendak, died Tuesday at the age of 83. He leaves behind a legacy of broken rules in literature, mythical places and inspiration that has always driven our creativity at Invisible Children.
Sendak, author of “Where the Wild Things Are,” created with an authenticity to himself and his ideas making his stories captivating and iconic. We believe in the power of stories.
