The heatwave is taking a toll. Our Vans Warped Tour Roadies Juan and Stesha have been experiencing pretty high temps as they venture across the country on the summer festival. They recently hit up Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Phoenix and beyond. You can follow their ventures on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Back in our San Diego office (where it also currently heavily toasty), we’re prepping for the 2013 Fourth Estate Summit. We’ve confirmed Carousel, The Jane Doze, Ghost Beach, Noah Gundersen and Le Wrens to perform at the conference, and we’ll be announcing final acts soon.

Until then, here’s a collection of summery tunes to soundtrack this heatwave. Listen below and launch all of our previous mixes [HERE].

01. BONDAX – “Giving It All” :: British duo Bondax have served up quite the summer slice with this newest song. It literally sounds like it was made in the Mediterranean Sea. What a chorus.

02. DUKE DUMONT FEAT. MNEK – “Hold On” :: Duke Dumont’s last single “100%” is one of our favorites of the year, so we had high hopes for the follow-up track. Those hopes were met and exceeded with this more subtle, dark single.

03. THE VACCINES – “Melody Calling” :: I didn’t see this chill of a track coming from The Vaccines. It’s kind of California meets The Cranberries, which are two things I’m really into. Very breezy and very good.

04. DANIEL MERRIWEATHER + WORDLIFE – “Breathe” :: It’s been a minute since Daniel Merriweather released music. His debut album Love & War was one of the most impressive soul debuts in years. He’s back this 2013 with this collab track with Wordlife. Very looking forward to hearing more music from this man.

05. THE TROUBLE WITH TEMPLETON – “You Are New” :: Australian band The Trouble With Templeton can’t not produce gems. Their newest single has our heart.

06. SARAH BLASKO – “I Awake” :: This entire week, all I’ve listened to is Sarah Blasko’s recent record I Awake. Internationally underrated doesn’t even begin to describe this woman. Her album is a masterpiece.

07. SOUTHERN – “Where The Wild Are” :: disco naïveté brought us to this track from a brother-sister duo out of Belfast. Thanks, disco naïveté.
